Information for Volunteers
At Westbourne, we place significant emphasis on helping children to read in their early years at school. Alongside the Reading Recovery programme, we are very grateful for the time that our many volunteers give in order to help children have a wide and substantial range of reading experiences in their early years at school and beyond.
It is also very important that children who may still be finding reading challenging in Key Stage 2 also have the opportunity to be heard read frequently in order to continue to develop reading strategies and a love of reading.
We are incrediby grateful for your help in making this possible.
